Football Recap: Bear River Triumphs + How To Watch

Bear River and Golden Sierra faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Friday. The Bruins walked away with a 19-12 win over the Grizzlies. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Jayden Brock looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 96 yards on only ten carries.

Despite the loss, Golden Sierra still got an impressive performance from Cody McCoard, who rushed for 86 yards and one score on only seven carries. McCoard was even better on defense, picking up four sacks and making five total tackles.

Bear River's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Golden Sierra, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Bear River and Golden Sierra will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bruins will take on rival Wheatland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Golden Sierra is set to square off against their familiar foe Lindhurst at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
