Soccer Game Preview: Giddings vs. Salado

The Giddings Buffaloes will square off against the Salado Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Giddings is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

If Giddings beats Salado with two goals on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Giddings won by a goal and slipped past La Grange 2-1.

Meanwhile, Salado kept a clean sheet against Taylor on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Ducks by a score of 2-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Ducks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Peyton Bivens and Luke Munson scored both of Salado's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Giddings' victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Salado, their win bumped their record up to 17-3-3.
