Recap: Lake Hamilton Wolves vs. Lakeside Rams
The Lakeside Rams typically have all the answers at home, but on Tuesday the Lake Hamilton Wolves proved too difficult a challenge. They slipped by the Rams 56-55. The win was nothing new for Lake Hamilton as they're now sitting on five straight.
Lakeside's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amelia Rogers, who scored 32 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckenzie Williams, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Lake Hamilton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Lakeside, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-9.
Lake Hamilton will take on Vilonia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Vilonia is coming into the contest with seven straight wins on the road, meaning Lake Hamilton will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Lakeside, they will challenge Sheridan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Arkansas (Lakeside is ranked 69th, while Sheridan is ranked 60th).
