Basketball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Legacy Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 75-49 to the Carlisle Indians. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 732nd, while the Indians are ranked 255th).

Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Carlisle, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Middletown Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carlisle, they will head out to challenge Valley View at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Valley View is on a seven-game streak of home wins, Carlisle a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
