Basketball Recap: Bowie Comes Up Short

Bowie was the 61-43 winner over Dripping Springs when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Bowie Bulldogs fell 65-57 to the Dripping Springs Tigers on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bowie now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Dripping Springs, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

Bowie and Johnson will round out the year against one another at at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Bowie knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Johnson likes a good challenge. As for Dripping Springs, they will challenge Antonian Prep at 9:30 a.m. on Friday.
