Basketball Game Preview: North Lenoir Hawks vs. Kinston Vikings

The North Lenoir Hawks and the Kinston Vikings will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. North Lenoir has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight defeats, while Kinston will come in with four straight victories.

North Lenoir lost 61-40 to Southwest Onslow on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 441st, while the Stallions are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Kinston strolled past East Duplin with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 56-41.

Kinston's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for North Lenoir, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
