Narraguagus had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Shead on Tuesday. The Knights never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Erica Rackliff, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Paidyn Cashman was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Narraguagus' win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Shead, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Narraguagus will challenge Jonesport-Beals at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shead, they will welcome Schenck at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolverines have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.64 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
