Clear Falls won against Vista Ridge on Friday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Clear Falls Knights walked away with a 55-48 victory over the Rouse Raiders. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaac Montgomery, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Montgomery a new career-high in boards. Luke Baldwin was another key player, going 9 of 16 on his way to 21 points and six rebounds.

Clear Falls is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Rouse, they moved to 9-7 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Clear Falls and Rouse should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Clear Falls (ranked 142nd) will meet Clear Creek (ranked 358th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rouse (ranked 238th) will meet Hays (ranked 575th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
