 Zion Christian Academy entered their tilt with Perry County with five consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the Perry County Vikings onto the board and left with  a   1-0  victory  on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Zion Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2023.
 Perry County's batters probably weren't too happy with  Ashleia Coble, who pitched a no hitter  and racked up 14 Ks (she gave up two walks). Coble has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than nine  strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Zion Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Claire Boyd, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Zion Christian Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won 13 of their last 14 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record  this season. As for Perry County, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
 Zion Christian Academy will head out on the road to  square off against  Loretto at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Loretto: 3.5, Zion Christian Academy: 2.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Perry County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
