West Ottawa was the 5-1 winner over Grand Haven when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 4-1 to the Buccaneers on Tuesday. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Quinn VanderKamp was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances.

West Ottawa's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Grand Haven, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 2-13.
