Soccer Recap: Cole Takes a Loss

Cole entered their contest against San Antonio Memorial on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cole Cougars came up short against the San Antonio Memorial Minutemen, falling 6-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Cougars were already down 4-1.

Cole's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4. As for San Antonio Memorial, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cole will take on Yoakum at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cole is facing Yoakum at the right time seeing as Yoakum is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for San Antonio Memorial, they will host Young Men's Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
