Basketball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 44-34 to the Turkey Valley Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-36 back in December of 2024.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Turkey Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Central will head out to square off against Postville at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Central is facing Postville at the right time seeing as Postville is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Turkey Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against North Fayette Valley at 6:15 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with North Fayette Valley sitting on four straight wins and Turkey Valley on three.
