Basketball Recap: Grover Cleveland Comes Up Short

After flying high against Middle College last Wednesday, Grover Cleveland came back down to earth. The Grover Cleveland Presidents fell 41-31 to Newcomers on Wednesday. The loss was the Presidents' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grover Cleveland fell to 2-1. As for Newcomers, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Academy of American Studies the next time they take the court. Grover Cleveland will head out to face Academy of American Studies at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Newcomers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
