Softball Game Preview: Sebastian River Sharks vs. Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds

The Sebastian River Sharks will venture away from home to challenge the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Sebastian River lost 10-4 to Key West on Friday. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kiera Carow spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and nine unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Sebastian River saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Layla McKinney, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Vero Beach, falling 10-0.

Lincoln Park Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Sebastian River, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
