Volleyball Game Preview: Lakeside Lancers vs. Canyon Springs Cougars

After both having extra time off, the Lakeside Lancers and the Canyon Springs Cougars will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 13 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Lakeside and three for Canyon Springs.

Last Thursday, Lakeside came up short against Heritage and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Canyon Springs took on Perris last Thursday. Canyon Springs lost 3-0 to Perris. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cougars have suffered since February 25th.

Canyon Springs took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 26-24.

Canyon Springs' loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Lakeside, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
