Basketball Recap: Sunshine Bible Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket

Sunshine Bible Academy had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels 71-26. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

Despite the defeat, Sunshine Bible Academy had strong showings from Jerome Big Eagle, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 10 points and seven rebounds, and Trey Thieman, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Sunshine Bible Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-45 loss against Faulkton on the 17th. As for Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 71-44 victory against Hitchcock-Tulare on the 17th.
