Volleyball Recap: Woodward Academy Triumphs + How To Watch

Woodward Academy won the last time they faced Shiloh and things went their way on Wednesday too. The War Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Generals.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Woodward Academy was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-8.

Sydney Harrison paced Woodward Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Harrison were helped by Laila Davis and Marissa Jones, who contributed five assists each. Davis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Woodward Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Shiloh, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.

Woodward Academy will square off against Lakeside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shiloh, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Newton on the 4th.
