            Baseball Recap: Strasburg Indians vs. Bennett Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Strasburg extended their losing streak  to four  on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 5-8 in the process. They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  an   11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bennett Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by  just one  run.
  Gavin Welch made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with two  doubles, two  RBI,  and one  run.  Houston Browski was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
As for Bennett, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory they have posted  since April 4th.
 On Bennett's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Brody Hawes, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. Those  two  doubles gave  Hawes a new career-high.  Avant Dickens also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 Coincidentally, Strasburg and Bennett will both be playing Byers the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Bulldogs at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday, while the Indians will  host them  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
