Basketball Recap: Bessemer Academy Makes It 14 in a Row on the Road

They claimed a resounding 68-41 win over the Banks Academy Jets. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Bessemer Academy was led to victory by Joshua Thompson and Jackson Rinehart. Thompson went 9 of 22 en route to 22 points and three steals, while Rinehart went 5 for 11 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds. With that strong performance, Thompson is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Another player making a difference was Tyseon Smith, who posted six points and six boards.
