The win made it two in a row for Kalida and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Ayersville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Kalida didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Ayersville in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 41-35 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Ayersville's Ally Schindler, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 19 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.
