Basketball Recap: Bangs Comes Up Short

Bangs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 35-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dublin Lions. The Dragons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 31-28.

Bangs' loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Dublin, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bangs will take on Roscoe at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dublin, they are taking a road trip to face off against Breckenridge at 6:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Dublin is facing Breckenridge at the right time seeing as Breckenridge is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
