Basketball Recap: Leyton Gets the Win

Leyton hadn't done well against Hyannis recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Leyton Warriors came out on top against the Hyannis Longhorns by a score of 56-46. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 49-11 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Leyton and bumps their season record up to 8-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Hyannis, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-9.

Coincidentally, Leyton and Hyannis will both be playing Garden County the next time they take the court. Hyannis will head out to face Garden County at 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, while Leyton will head out to face them on February 21st.
