Recap: Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots vs. Calvary Christian Academy

The Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.6 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They took down Calvary Christian Academy 51-37. That's another feather in the cap for Chestertown Christian Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Chestertown Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Craig Clark, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and eight steals. It was the first time this season that Clark pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Lloyd, who scored 17 points along with three steals.

Despite the defeat, Calvary Christian Academy had strong showings from Sean Sensenig (HS), who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Kyle Parks, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Sensenig (HS) continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Chestertown Christian Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Chestertown Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Fairwinds Christian at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Chestertown Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Salisbury Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Calvary Christian Academy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Salisbury Christian in their respective states (Calvary Christian Academy is ranked 60th in Delaware, while Salisbury Christian is ranked 303rd in Maryland).
