Baseball Recap: Dublin Scioto Takes a Loss

Dublin Scioto fell victim to Big Walnut and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 10-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Irish's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Dublin Scioto's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-8. As for Big Walnut, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dublin Scioto will take on Licking Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Big Walnut, they will venture away from home to challenge Westland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
