Softball Game Preview: Gulf Breeze Dolphins vs. Navarre Raiders

The Gulf Breeze Dolphins will challenge the Navarre Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gulf Breeze is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Gulf Breeze came up short against Fort Walton Beach and fell 11-7. That's two games in a row now that the Dolphins have lost by exactly four runs.

Kennedy Craft made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ariana Mercado, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Navarre's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against Niceville, falling 8-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Raiders have suffered since April 25, 2024.

Gulf Breeze's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Navarre, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Gulf Breeze was able to grind out a solid victory over Navarre when the teams last played back in March, winning 10-7. Do the Dolphins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
