Softball Preview: Tate Aggies vs. Gulf Breeze Dolphins

The Tate Aggies have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome the Gulf Breeze Dolphins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. In what's become a running theme this season, Tate gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They were the clear victor by an 11-3 margin over Escambia. 11 seems to be a good number for Tate as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Kate Balagbagan made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Balagbagan has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Balagbagan was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and a double.
