Soccer Recap: Brooke Point Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Brooke Point, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They never let the North Stafford Wolverines get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for Brooke Point as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Brooke Point pushed their record up to 4-3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for North Stafford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's still a better percentage than their 1-9-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Brooke Point and North Stafford will both be playing Stafford the next time they take the pitch. The Black Hawks will head out to face the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wolverines will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
