Volleyball Recap: Manitowoc Lincoln Comes Up Short

Manitowoc Lincoln lost against Pewaukee back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Ships took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates.

Abby Weidmayer paced Manitowoc Lincoln's offense, picking up 14 kills. Weidmayer got some help from Cora Foster and her 12 assists. Mollie Junk controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Manitowoc Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 20-19. As for Pewaukee, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-12 record this season.

Manitowoc Lincoln will be playing at home against Ashwaubenon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pewaukee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
