Baseball Game Preview: Tara Trojans vs. White Castle Bulldogs

The Tara Trojans will face off against the White Castle Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tara is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.4 runs per game this season.

Tara will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Broadmoor on Thursday. Tara was the clear victor by a 16-1 margin over Broadmoor. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Don Rochon was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one triple. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrick Patin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, White Castle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against St. John, falling 12-5.

Tara's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for White Castle, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
