Basketball Recap: Newberg Takes a Loss

Newberg lost against Forest Grove back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Newberg Tigers lost 64-40 to the Forest Grove Vikings.

Newberg's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Forest Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Newberg will head out on the road to challenge Sprague at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forest Grove, they will square off against Sherwood at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
