After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nature Coast Tech, Springstead was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Pasco Pirates get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Springstead, who have now won 11 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Pasco from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ava Sanden led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Springstead's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Pasco, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Springstead does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pasco, they will challenge Hernando at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hernando will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Pasco surely won't give up without a fight.
