Gloucester has gone a perfect 10-0 against Heritage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Dukes will look to defend their home field against the Hurricanes at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Gloucester has five straight victories, Heritage has 21 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Gloucester's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Manor with a sharp 10-0 win. The Dukes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Manor's batters probably weren't too happy with Brayden Scott, who pitched a no hitter and racked up ten Ks (he gave up zero walks). Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Scott.
At the plate, Hank Hardaway was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Jesse Jackson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs.
Gloucester always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Heritage lost 17-2 to Bethel on Thursday.
Heritage saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robert Drumgoole, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Another was Donnell King Jr, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Gloucester's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-18.
Gloucester took their victory against Heritage in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 17-0 score. Do the Dukes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hurricanes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
