Soccer Recap: Cary-Grove Victorious

Cary-Grove's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Grayslake Central Rams 2-1.

Avery Brown and Avery Hoffman scored both of Cary-Grove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Cary-Grove's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for Grayslake Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Cary-Grove will head out on the road to take on Maine South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grayslake Central, they will host Libertyville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
