Volleyball Recap: Middletown Middies vs. Lebanon Warriors
Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Lebanon Warriors.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12, 25-10.
Lebanon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Madison Kyle out in front who had 15 digs and three kills. Kyle is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Dillyn Tucker, who had five digs, five aces, and a block.
Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Lebanon, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-14.
Middletown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lebanon has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Fairfield on the 23rd.
