Preview: Sarcoxie vs. Pierce City
On Friday Sarcoxie take on Pierce City at 7:00 PM. The odds don't look promising for Sarcoxie, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
Sarcoxie had enough points to win and then some against Lockwood/Golden City last week, taking their game 47-29.
Meanwhile, Pierce City was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything went their way against Diamond as the squad secured a 35-0 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Pierce City had established a 28-0 advantage.
Their wins bumped Pierce City to 2-0 and Sarcoxie to 1-1. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
