Basketball Recap: Corning Comes Up Short

Corning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were dealt a 63-14 loss at the hands of the Riverside Rebels. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Corning's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Corning Bobcats take on the Rector Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bay at 5:00 p.m. on February 4th.
