Baseball Recap: First Flight Nighthawks vs. Currituck County Knights

First Flight extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 13-9 in the process. They came up short against the Currituck County Knights, falling 9-0. Considering the last time the Nighthawks couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

First Flight saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Stewart, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

On Currituck County's side, Caden Barth was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave Barth a new career-high. Jake McClanan also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
