Volleyball Game Preview: Yorkville Foxes vs. Plainfield Central Wildcats

Yorkville is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Plainfield Central a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Yorkville Foxes will look to defend their home court against the Plainfield Central Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Yorkville didn't have quite enough to beat Joliet Central and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Yorkville sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 26-24, 22-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Plainfield Central came up short against Geneva on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Plainfield Central couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Geneva a tough time in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 33-31, 25-21.

Yorkville's loss dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Plainfield Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-19.
