Ruidoso is 8-1 against Dexter since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will host the Demons at 6:00 p.m.

Ruidoso is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering New Mexico Military Institute just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Colts by a score of 3-2.

Ruidoso took New Mexico Military Institute into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14, 25-27, 19-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Dexter got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Tularosa. The victory was some much needed relief for the Demons as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The win didn't come easy: Tularosa scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 26-24, 23-25, 25-23.

Ruidoso's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-9. As for Dexter, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

Everything went Ruidoso's way against Dexter when the teams last played on Tuesday, as Ruidoso made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
