Prairie has gone 8-2 against Briggsdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mustangs will challenge the Falcons at 1:00 p.m. Prairie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

Prairie made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Caliche, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs fell just short of the Buffaloes by a score of 10-8 on Thursday. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Riar Holloway made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Derek Dollerschell, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Briggsdale fell victim to Rocky Mountain Lutheran and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 10-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Prairie's record is now 8-5. As for Briggsdale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6-1.

Everything went Prairie's way against Briggsdale when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Prairie made off with a 14-3 victory. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
