Basketball Recap: Worthington Comes Up Short

Worthington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Western Christian Wolfpack. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 62-52 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Worthington's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Western Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-13 record this season.

Worthington will square off against New Ulm at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Western Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Le Mars at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
