Baseball Game Preview: Ragsdale Tigers vs. Southwest Guilford Cowboys

For the second straight game, Ragsdale will face off against Southwest Guilford. The Tigers will welcome the Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Ragsdale 3.4, Southwest Guilford 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Tuesday, Ragsdale needed a bit of extra time to put away Southwest Guilford. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cowboys, sneaking past 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

For Southwest Guilford's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graham Sutherland, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Southwest Guilford's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 13-4. As for Ragsdale, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
