Northern Guilford had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They never let the Page Pirates get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Northern Guilford's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Leah Blackwell and Violet Barbosa scored both of Northern Guilford's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Northern Guilford's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Page, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
