Volleyball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside lost against Saint Ignatius College Prep back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Wolfpack. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Northside ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Daniel Nguyen and Jacky Bu, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Mitch Abe and his seven assists.

Northside now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, they moved to 7-13 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Northside has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Jones on the 24th. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Chicago Mt. Carmel on the 24th.
