Neah Bay had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They breezed past the Pateros Billygoats/Nannies to the tune of 66-31. With the Red Devils ahead 36-16 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Neah Bay to victory, but perhaps none more so than Angel Halttunen, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 19 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Those 19 points gave Halttunen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cerise Moss, who posted 20 points.

Neah Bay's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points on average over those games. As for Pateros, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-7 record this season.

Neah Bay will face off against Oakesdale at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Neah Bay: 28.7, Oakesdale: 27.1) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Pateros, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-47 victory against Lummi on the 5th.
