Volleyball Recap: Granite Hills Victorious

Granite Hills's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Helix Highlanders by a score of 2-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Highlanders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Lathan Fry paced Granite Hills' offense, picking up 18 kills. Fry got some help from Tristan McDaniel and his 25 assists. Fry also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Conall Cicchetto, racking up three apiece.

The victory got Granite Hills back to even at 1-1. As for Helix, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coincidentally, Granite Hills and Helix will both be playing Olympian the next time they take the court. Granite Hills will head out to face Olympian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Helix will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
