Snowflake had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Blue Ridge on Thursday. The Lobos blew past the Yellow Jackets 5-2. Considering Snowflake have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the sixth in a row for Snowflake, bringing their record up to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those six matchups. As for Blue Ridge, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 8-4-1.

Coincidentally, Snowflake and Blue Ridge will both be playing Show Low the next time they take the pitch. The Yellow Jackets will head out to face the Cougars at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Lobos will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
