Softball Recap: Mohawk Warriors vs. Carey Blue Devils

Mohawk was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Carey on Tuesday. The Warriors never let the Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Aubrey Gottfried made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
