There's no place like home for Fillmore, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past the Santa Clara Saints 14-3 on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Flashes in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won six in a row.

Santiago Avila made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Javi Contreras, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February of 2024.

The victory got Fillmore back to even at 1-1.
