Baseball Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short

Freedom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Little Chute Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Irish of the 7-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Little Chute, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Mustangs beat Freedom by a score of 13-1 later that day.
